George Mason Shuts Out Sacred Heart, Sets Stage for Showdown with Coppin State

George Mason Club Football dominated on Saturday, overwhelming Sacred Heart University 50-0 in Fairfield, Connecticut. The game ended early, called with seven minutes left in the third quarter when Sacred Heart opted to forfeit.

Elias Lippincott was unstoppable, racking up 149 rushing yards on 19 carries and scoring three touchdowns. Theo Assan also made an impact with five catches for 145 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, Darion El led the way with five solo tackles and five assists. He also had a fumble recovery that was returned for a touchdown, but the score was called back due to a penalty. Sebastian Bright added 7 tackles and 1 TFL to highlight and dominate effort by the Patriot defense. This victory moves George Mason up to #3 in the NCFA National Rankings, while Coppin State slipped to #4 after a close 8-6 loss to Showtime Prep.
